Mock drill tomorrow in 4 states bordering Pakistan, weeks after Op Sindoor

Days after Operation Sindoor, a mock drill will be conducted in four states and UT including Gujarat, Rajasthan, Jammu Kashmir and Punjab on May 29 evening, government said.

Earlier also, the government had announced to conduct mock drills in 244 districts of the country on May 7 amid tension with Pakistan. India had taken military action against terrorist camps in Pakistan.

Under Operation Sindoor, India attacked 9 terrorist bases in Pakistan. More than 100 terrorists were killed in this attack. After this, Pakistan carried out drone and missile attacks in India’s border states. However, these attacks were foiled by India’s air defense system.
