Rohit Sharma's chat with Nita Ambani goes viral after another failure vs KKR

The pressure is building on former Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma. Team India’s Test and ODI skipper has only managed to score 21 runs in 3 innings in IPL 2025 till date, after falling for 13 runs against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Monday night. MI went on to win the match by eight wickets with more than 7 overs to spare – their first in IPL 2025 season.

A video has now emerged where Mumbai Indians owner Mukesh Ambani’s wife Nita Ambani is having a serious chat with Rohit Sharma after MI cruised to a win. Rohit had managed to score 13 off 12 balls with 1 six off Harshit Rana before being sent back to the pavilion by KKR all-rounder Andre Russell.

Rohit played as an ‘Impact Player’ in MI’s third match coming into the playing 11 in place of chinaman Vignesh Puthur. He was retained for Rs 16.3 crore by Mumbai Indians ahead of IPL 2025 mega auction last year. He led Team India to T20 World Cup 2024 title last year and the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in the ODI format last month.
