Bengaluru man assaulted by Zepto delivery agent over wrong address

The Basaveshwaranagar police have registered a case against a Zepto delivery executive for allegedly assaulting a customer following a row that erupted over wrong address.

Based on a complaint filed by Shashank S., a resident of Judges Colony, the police have charged the accused, identified as Vishnuvardhan.

According to the FIR, Shashank’s sister-in-law had ordered groceries on a quick commerce platform, on the afternoon of May 21, 2025. Vishnuvardhan was assigned as the delivery partner by the application. When he reached the location, the victim’s sister-in-law went to collect the order.
